CDL Class A Heavy Haul Driver
Mid Mountain Excavation & Transport is looking for an experienced, dependable CDL Class A Heavy Haul Driver to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver who takes pride in operating heavy equipment safely and professionally.
Position: CDL Class A Heavy Haul Driver
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Safely operate CDL Class A trucks and heavy-haul equipment
Transport excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy construction equipment
Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with DOT regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and required documentation
Safely operate on local and regional routes throughout Arizona
Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and field personnel
Assist with basic truck and trailer inspections and maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe truck, trailer, and work environment
Follow all company safety policies and applicable FMCSA/DOT regulations

Valid Class A CDL
Clean driving record
Current DOT medical card
2+ years of heavy-haul or lowboy experience preferred
Experience hauling construction equipment strongly preferred
Knowledge of proper load securement and tie-down procedures
Ability to safely operate and maneuver large trucks and trailers
Strong understanding of DOT regulations
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Able to work independently and as part of a construction team
Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when required

Construction Estimator – Demolition & Excavation
Mid Mountain Excavation & Transport is looking for an experienced, dependable Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong construction knowledge who can confidently evaluate projects, develop accurate estimates, and help create competitive bids. The ideal candidate understands construction beyond the numbers and is comfortable reviewing plans, visiting jobsites, determining quantities, calculating production and equipment needs, and obtaining subcontractor and material pricing.

● Estimate demolition, excavation, dirt work, grading, and site-development projects
● Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and scopes of work
● Perform quantity takeoffs for dirt, concrete, asphalt, demolition debris, rock, utilities, and other materials
● Calculate equipment, labor, trucking, disposal, material, and subcontractor costs
● Determine production rates and equipment requirements
● Obtain and compare material, trucking, disposal, and subcontractor pricing
● Visit jobsites to evaluate existing conditions and identify potential problems
● Prepare detailed and accurate bid proposals
● Identify project risks, exclusions, and potential change-order items
● Communicate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers
● Track upcoming bids and maintain estimating records
● Help develop competitive pricing while protecting company profit margins
● Assist with handoff of awarded projects to the operations/project management team -
● 3+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
● Strong understanding of demolition, excavation, dirt work, grading, and site work
● Field construction experience is a major plus
● Ability to read civil plans, grading plans, demolition plans, and specifications
● Strong understanding of construction equipment and production rates
● Experience estimating trucking, hauling, disposal, and material quantities
● Comfortable using Excel and estimating software
● Strong math and organizational skills
● Able to work independently and meet bid deadlines
● Strong communication and negotiation skills
● Valid driver’s license
● Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of the estimating process -
